The REM station is going to be the first thing to go in there so demolition of the current parking structure can't be far off... plus they have to set-up the temporary drop-off area.

The new parking will be opened by December 2019, so demolition by early 2020 is the current plan. Digging the new REM station (35 meters deep) starting summer 2020. Remote curb side for private cars by the end of 2020, so demolition of the existing departure ramp between door 1 and 6 can begin. Major steps a head!

Any idea when this frankly ridiculous movement of the private car drop-off zone is going to happen?  It LOOKS like mid to end of 2020.  

One of the worst items of this is that Uber for the ADMTL folks is considered "private cars".  Way to benefit the archaic taxi industry....

Current plan is the 3rd trimester of 2020. Rental companies service centres (Avis/Budget, National/ Alamo et Hertz) will be moved, it will free up space for that remote curb side. To make simple: taxis, shuttles and buses will still drop at the terminal, everyone else will be forced to use the remote curb side and grab a shuttle.

De très belles choses s’en viennent. Mark my words, en 2027, nous aurons la première partie de la nouvelle aérogare.
