And yet, Montreal transborder numbers are increasing compared to last year. Weird indeed. Even AC is reducing YUL-FLL and YYZ-FLL next winter season. YUL-LAS sees an increase though in December.

AC FLL-YUL NOV 3>2 DEC 4>3

AC FLL-YYZ NOV 3>2 DEC 4>3

AC LAS-YUL DEC 1.2>2

Rouge on YYZ-HNL is also being downgauged to 1x weekly, compared to 2x weekly last year. It also starts late December, compared to late November, as originally planned. Rouge is obviously struggling on the route. Wouldn't be surprised if it disappears completely for the 2017/2018 season.

System is showing 4 daily on YUL-FLL on certain days in December and 3 out of the 4 flights are operated by 763, so that makes up kind of.

Also to mention 1 out of the 2 daily MCO flights in now operated by 763 instead of A319. LAS will also be 14 weekly instead of 7.

I'd rather see the larger planes than increased frequencies in some instances. It's also good to note the number of Americans coming to Canada has increased so that will offset the impact in some cases. The US market is and has been generally flat for years. I'd love to see UA mainline and at least one of the big discount carriers JetBlue, Alaska or Southwest open up a route or two out of YUL. We haven't seen much expansion to the US in years.
