Yes, especially since in the eighties when I lived there, the Dart suburban train was the only rail in the city. It runs seaside and started from Howth in the north to Bray in the south, I think. The city has grown and improved quite a lot.

Where in Dublin did you live? I am moving to Phibsboro at the end of September. One thing I do have to say, if this public transit rail system does get completed by 2018, it will be quite easy to get around Dublin and you won't really need a car. I did notice that the buses don't run that late.
