I made a mistake, I saw a tweet from the Chamber of Commerce with this and the $500M price tag. It's a different developer with another $500M project.

Ouain, ça semble être un pétard mouillé que cette annonce de megaprojet de Montini - ils n'ont même pas fait de présentation et c'est Phyllis Lambert qui a la parole avec le mot de la fin...

My feeling is that we probably won't hear anything publicly about this project until after the next municipal election in November. If Bertone have obtained commitments for large floor space and have finalized their plans,  they may officially  submit their project to the  approval process, but this may remain confidential unless Bertone chooses to announce something. If they are requesting major zoning changes (as would be the case for the residential towers proposed in Phase 2), this may become controversial. You want to avoid that during the municipal election period....
