Voici l'une des premières images de la caméra de chantier où l'on peut apercevoir pour la première fois l'arrière de la Maison Louis-Hippolyte La Fontaine restaurée et dégagée de ses échafaudages.

Wow what a success! I did not expect such a transformation. 4 years ago this was the ugliest parking lot in the entire city, with a dilapidated historic site from the 19th century. Today, completely renovated with 3 towers behind it and a row of townhouses next to it. Wow!

C'est effectivement une réussite. On ne peut pas ressusciter le passé, mais on peut au moins lui redonner son caractère original. Cette maison a même trouvé un rôle consulaire, ce qui ajoute à la noblesse de ses fonctions.

WOW! Merci pour ce rappel. C'est comme de la magie au ralenti: on recouvre le tout d'un grand drap, puis quelque mois plus tard on le retire et le laideron s'est transformée en princesse. Bravo Montréal pour avoir cru que le miracle était possible

En espérant des lumières dimmer en avant pour donner une ambiance noble et sobre qui ramène dans l'imagination ce qui était surement de lampions originalement.
