Experts agree—the best temperature to pour concrete is between 40° – 60°F. When temperatures dip below 40°F, the chemical reactions that strengthen concrete slow down and can lead to weaker concrete. If concrete curing temperatures are below freezing, the water inside the concrete can freeze and expand, resulting in cracks.

Folks get the facts before making assumptions.....so don't  be surprised if no concrete gets poured.

Le chantier vit toujours, donc pas de rigueur mortis non plus.

There are plenty of additives that allow construction companies to pour concrete in sub-optimal temperatures. 

A pour may be rescheduled if it's -35C but it's very common to execute pours at -15, -20.

Its been -25/30 for over 2 weeks.

Has it? Lol most sites also have these neat o things called… heaters.

FWIW it has briefly dropped to -26° a couple of times right about when I start work at 5 am and we… make sure the heaters are running. More like -18° this week. The additives and heaters and tarps/wraps are working.
