(just no happy holidays, lmao)

Word.

This artificially induced political correctness regarding "happy holidays" vs "merry christmas" can kiss my ass. I'm not a practicing christian and i still regard this time as "christmas".

If you use "happy holidays" instead of "merry christmas" to avoid risking offending someone, i will slap you.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

Wow, I can kind of understand Portuguese using my knowledge of French.

Yup! The langauges are quite similar, actually! (As are many European languages..)

However that phrase in Portuguese happens to have many common-sounding words. That's not always the case.

Joyeux Noël et bonne année à tous. Pour 2008 : rêvons d'un 40 étages ou plus. La compétition Westcliff, Hines, Square Phillips et Magil sera intéressante !

Joyeux Noël vs. Happy Holidays: that's how we do our accommodements raisonables here at MtlUrb and I think that's the way we all like it ! :)

It's even more similar to Italian I find than French.

Buon Natale e felice anno nuovo a tutti!
