Peut-on faire la même chose avec les briques picotées brunes et le rose «peau de fesse» de la station Atwater?

 

Blague à part, j'ai hâte de voir à quoi ressemblera le projet, une fois terminé.

Guy-Concordia was always one of the plainest metro stations and looked drab even in the 1970's. It was also plagued with ground water seepage even back then.

Surprisingly, I haven't spotted cockroaches in quite some time. Maybe none since early June. Is it because of the heat / summer season? Repairs to the St-Mathieu exit? Actual exterminators coming in and doing their job?

Went to have a look at the work that was done, I could tell you that this station still needs a complete overhaul on the platforms and on the Guy side, however the St-Mathieu side looks amazing now!! Still a few things that are being worked on.

Honestly I have been using this entrance twice a day for years and I can't really tell the difference. Not much of an upgrade. Plus I've been seeing cockroaches daily now

That whole area is infested with cockroaches (including Faubourg Ste-Catherine, where it lead to one store moving out -new look- and one restaurant - the grumman 78 counter - closing temporarily until they clean up the place

I give it a month and the rejuvanation will look almost as bad as before. Cockroaches thrive because this area is probably the filthiest in the whole downtown area. The newly revamped Concordia quarter already looks like it's 50 years old. Can't believe how some students and residents are trashy there. Or maybe it's just the density of population and lack of cleaning. Who knows? The only thing obvious is that it's a dirty area.
