NBC-TV's popular Today show is hitting the road for Quebec.

Hosts Kathy Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb will be in Montreal Thursday and Friday to tape two episodes of the popular long-running morning show.

The Thursday episode will be broadcast live in the show's fourth hour between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

It's the first time the fourth hour of the Today show is being taped outside the United States.

Today has been an early morning staple in the U.S. since 1952.

Among the scheduled guests will be the Barenaked Ladies and members of the Cirque de Soleil.

The hosts are also expected to sample some poutine.
