Dans le cadre de l'éventuelle tenue de l'Exposition Universelle de 1897 à Montréal, un certain Mainville avait proposé ce projet (bien avant Drapeau, héhéhé!!!).

C'est même avant le téléphérique de Montjuïc à Barcelone qui a été construit en 1931.

Ça donne une idée à quoi aurait plus ressembler celui de Montréal, s'il avait été construit.

J'aurais bien aimé ce projet. Avec les édifices qui l'auraient entouré par la suite, nous aurions eu un décors urbain du style de Peter & Schuiten.
