Même que de nombreuses célébrités hollywoodiennes ont déjà réservé leur exemplaire. La chanteuse américaine Cher serait parmi l'une des premières à avoir fait un dépôt pour en obtenir un. Toute cette frénésie fait suite au succès monstre du lancement qui a eu lieu il y a quelques semaines à San Diego. La production du Spyder ne débutera qu'en septembre à l'usine de Valcourt.
