  1. I heard this one is temporary and a permanent one is going to be built near gate 80...
  2. Once Asiana gets the approval from US regulatory boards for its merger with Korean Airlines, Air Canada won't have any Star Alliances partners at ICN... Hopefully, the YUL-ICN performs well so this new route will remain in place in the upcoming years!
  4. Alo Yoga (une marque de tenue sportive similaire à Lululemon) et Apple @maxi2515 Could you tell us where the Alo Yoga will be located? 😮
  5. Those will remain operable once occupied. However, if I am not mistaken, the degree of opening (how much the window can open outwards) will be limited to prevent the windows ripping off in high wind conditions.
  7. Un petit couronnement à la TDC 2 & 3 😶
  8. I saw this screenshot on 55e avenue Facebook Group. Just wanted to share this information for the ones that are still skeptical about EK coming to YUL. This news appears to have been shared by YUL's administrative Sharepoint.
  9. I guess it was Dubai with Emirates that what you were referring to...👀 Expanded Canada-United Arab Emirates air transport agreement to allow more flights between both countries Whether visiting family and friends or shipping goods to markets around the world, Canadians rely on the aviation industry to provide diverse international air services. Expanding Canada’s existing air transport relationships allows airlines to introduce more flight options and routings, which benefit passengers and businesses by providing greater choice while creating good jobs for Canadians and growing our economy. Today, the Minister of Transport, the Honourable Omar Alghabra, announced the conclusion of an expanded air transport agreement between Canada and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), which is Canada’s largest air transport market in the Middle East. The expanded agreement allows 21 flights per week for each country. This will permit 50 per cent more flights than the maximum number previously possible, facilitate new routes, and give airlines greater flexibility to accommodate changes in market demand. This significant move will better accommodate the growing Canada-UAE air transport market, improve Canada’s global connectivity, and support tourism and trade activity between the two countries. The new rights under the expanded agreement are available for use by airlines immediately. This new agreement is also aligned with Canada’s Indo-Pacific Strategy since the UAE serves as a hub for many flights to Asia. https://www.canada.ca/en/transport-canada/news/2023/04/expanded-canada-united-arab-emirates-air-transport-agreement-to-allow-more-flights-between-both-countries.html
  13. It seems like it will be a 787-8 when you try to book the flight on aircanada.com
  14. Not going to deny that it is indeed a breath of fresh air in the area. However, these new constructions are not considering the needs of this ethnic neighborhood. People go to Chinatown for its urban and cultural qualities that is much different than the rest of the city. If these new constructions are just popping out at every empty lot, it will simply become a Griffintown 2.0. These developments will ultimately add little to no quality to the area. I am not against new developments in Chinatown; however, it should be done in a careful manner without impacting the essence of what Chinatown represents. Of course, I am not saying that all the new constructions should look like the Holiday Inn. As depicted in the picture that Normand Hamel posted above, one of the entrances to Chinatown is now heavily dominated by adjacent developments. The gate/arch, once a symbol marking the arrival into Chinatown, no longer retain the same stature and prominence as it once did. Hopefully, the new heritage status will help guide designers and developers to be more attentive to the character that define the Montreal Chinatown.
