  1. Last month while coming back from New Brunswick my family took Autoroute 40 instead of the 20 from the Quebec City area. A-40 would be great fro HSR! In transit, Andrew
  2. A TGV line between Montreal and Quebec City would be maybe about $6 billion. In transit, Andrew
  3. For PET it could be possible to put in a joint AMT/VIA station, from near the Pine Beach station build a flyover for CN and at Lachine flyovers for both CN & CP, then have a through elevated line with CN/CP interchanges and both ends to the airport. I'd also throw in trams to the mix heading along Cardinal from Bouchard and Cote-de-Liesse. In transit, Andrew
  4. I'd like to see a tram line heading to the west island using the Hydro-Quebec right of way from Pierrefonds to Ste.Anne-de-Bellvue, then along Henri-Bourassa to Pointe-aux-Trembles. Bout-de-I'Ile a Bout-de-I'Ile! In transit, Andrew
  5. This line is used by Amtrak's Adirondack train to New York City, I've thought about commuter train service along here too. It would also run on what was part of the first railway line in Canada too when you think about it. As for Chambly this was once part of the Montreal & Southern Counties line which went from Montreal to Granby, yep 56 miles of track under catenary. One could even run from Central Station to Valleyfield by means of this line too conecting to CP at Delson and CSX at Adirondack Jct. Though what is also really needed for the Montreal are a is a freight train cut off. It would be better than building Autoroute 30 to Valleyfield. In transit, Andrew
  6. Though not how those lines are being planed. Repentigny and then L'Assomption, but as for Mascouche use the existing CP/QGRY line from Laval. In transit, Andrew
  7. I'd like to see the line north of St.Jerome restored too. As well for Brome Lake and other places a lot of track needs to be relaid. In transit, Andrew
  8. I live near the Bois-Franc station, to me I think that a metro line to Cartierville has been paid for since 1959 when we lost our streetcars. In transit, Andrew
  9. The thing that get's me about this project is the part that the MTQ wants to build a line from Repentingy to Terrebonne, I want trains to Mascouche too, but use the QGRY line from Laval instead. Andrew Dawson
