I just got it back after 6 hours without power. Was really them or the people working on Guy (there is road work)?

The reason guy south of rene levesque is blocked is because of pipe work being done for Quinzecent. But the gas leak could have also been cause by Apt Dorchester. I got my power back now as well

Just to build on what SkahHigh and Mondo are saying with Enticy condos blocking the east view.

The decision to leave the east wall of the building windowless could also be because the developers do not know when Concordia University will sell their Visual Arts building on 1395 René-Lévesque W to developers for a condo project (120m + i imagine). Its not a question of "if" its a question of "when" at this point as the building has been neglected for years and the University is more interested in renovating/developing the Hall Building (1455 De Maisoneuve) and are waiting for the right price to sell the Rene Levesque building. Having Enticy + a future condo where the visual arts building was + Icone blocking views out the east side were probably all reasons they decided not to go forward with windows.

Do we know if these windows are to be filled-in as they are on the lot line?  Or will there be a light well between 1 SP and Hotel Philips Place?

There will be no gap between the buildings according to this render, so my guess is those windows will be filled in

All of the tenants have moved out of the building since the start of June. The back is fenced off.

The authorization for demolition sign in front of the lot as seen in the two photos is gone. I don’t know if this is because of vandalism, or the project was canned ? Hopefully they went back to the drawing board because the proposed building looked ugly as hell.

  5. Hey guys back again.

This time I was just wondering where the community thinks Montreal's public transit focus should be after or during the REM construction and Blue line extension.

Recently with the mayor of St Laurent at the forefront, discussions on extending the Orange Line have been re-ignited. Since 2007 the Montreal Metro has not added any stations but the city population increased from 3.7million to 4.1+ million in that span (its more now as data stops in 2017). In short Montreal's metropolitan population INCREASED BY 500,000 PEOPLE (the same amount of people as the population of Halifax or Quebec City) and the STM with the governments of Canada and Quebec sat around and did nothing during that span. Assuming when the REM and Blue line projects get completed, and they wont make the same mistakes again by getting started on another project earlier this time, which project should that be?
