I agree with qatzelok. I think this building is great - it's a 1970s institution that, at the time, was trying to bridge between looking modern and looking important (weighty). The builiding's waterfall art deco shape mirrors it's close neighbour the Aldridge and they look great as a pair. And it looks uniquely Montrelais, to me. I can't speak to the materials that were used, and I hope they clean up the metal grill at the crown of the building, but I do respect this architecture. I appreciate the time-capsule restoration they're doing (very different from Bonaventure's renovation).
