  1. The buildings (police HQ and office building) on the block on the east side of St Urbain, de Maisonneuve to Ste Catherine, needs to be replaced with something iconic.
  2. The façades of the Bell Centre as well as that of Broccolini's tower at ground level need to be more animated
  3. Wasn’t there a proposal for the Paco site?
  4. Is there any info on retail development of rail bridge?
  5. 107,550 sq. meters does not equal 11.4 miilon sq.ft.
  6. I just hope that at ground level it won't be an entrance to a parkade as it seems to appear on the illustration.
  7. Good opportunity to reduce our bloated public administration.
  8. Should get moment factory to light up the drab basillaire. Would do wonders to the whole area
  9. I am not referring to the height or density - I am referring to the quality of design and materials.
  10. Very disappointing. We should be expecting from across the river something that resemble developments in Mississauga or Brooklyn.
  11. Meri Normand. Vos "postings" sont toujours très instructives et éducatives.
  12. If there is one place where we should make the over 200m exception- it’s here. It should cover the whole block Mansfield to RB and include a massive remake/extension of central station (like Berlin)with underground city connections all around. It could be a multi building complex including new HQ for CN, offices, 5 star hotel and residential component (a la John Hancock in Chicago). It should be slim enough not to disturb the views from The mountain or from the south.
  13. To make this picture perfect missing building at sw corner rb
  14. I can definitely see something like this around Atwater Market. Delormier = Atwater; Ste Catherine = Notre Dame; Pedestrian mall = Green between Lionel Groulx and market. This mixed use development would be suitable for an additional IT hub. It certainly densifies the area and brings together the canal, the market and the metro station.
  15. Isn't the Green line already taking a portion of theses passengers?
  16. They would also spend $0 dollars. The purpose is to develop the east end and I'm certain CDPQi will have plenty of options especially from Frontenac going east.
  17. If only 15% are heading downtown, why not integrate with Honoré Beaugrand or Frontenac metro stations instead of disfiguring RL.
  18. Wasn't a project announced awhile ago at the PACO site?
  19. I could see segment 2 become a square (in the Dorchester square style)for much needed greenery in the area; a much larger Palais des congres expanded in segment 3 and connected underground to current palais; and redo of facade of current palais on st urban.
  20. Wasn’t the Hancock centre in Chicago pre 90’s and mixed use and more than 300m tall?
  21. And without the basillaire. Too heavy at street level.
  22. Missing a clock to complete the look.
  23. Better, not ideal, but should come out east of st Laurent.
