Brick Linsport

Hi all Looking for some advice on a *new* problem I have to deal with. Sorry if this topic belongs somewhere else. I am the owner of a condo in downtown Montreal. There is a neighbor who just moved in upstairs (renter not owner I believe) and he keeps playing loud music! And late! He is young and always has friends over smoking up. I have confronted him, and every time I do he turns the music down, but the situation keeps repeating itself (and I can always still hear just a bit, even after it is turned down). I think the noise travels because the building has central AC (he is directly above me so I assume the noise travels through the vents and that is why I can hear so much). I have just raised it to the management company to see what the co-ownership rules say and what I can do, but still hoping to resolve amicably. I worry that it might be because of these vents (ie combination of loud music + poor isolation?). Anyway, first time I have an issue like this and I have been living in apartments for a long time. Bonjour a tous, I would like to know how 'easy' it is to do (arrondissement is ville-Marie). I called the city but they didn't give me much info. They sent me a guide but the guide simply states that 'at least 50% of occupants need to ask for it', but not much else. There must be more to it. FYI I'm not the one making the conversion. I am looking at a property that is Indivise and the promoter is 'assuring' me conversion will occur but I don't want to take his word for it. Was wondering if anyone here had experiences with this. merci
