Nor the governments nor the STM have any money in sight to cover their share of building the McGill and Édouard-Montpetit stations. They will not hold up the opportunity to get $5,5B of investment into the Montreal transit system.
Once the new transit planning agency is in place, they will have all the opportunities to figure out where in the priorities those two stations fit and then execute the project at the opportune time.
Note that no one, nowhere ever said that those two stations made no sense. They will be built and everyone will rejoice, in due time, IMHO.
