  1. Was Stockholm previously announced? Nice to see routes like that in our network now.
  2. The dancing bear I didn’t know I needed..! 😆
  3. That’s a beautiful looking building. A real punch of brightness in a dark grey skyline. Love it, it stands out perfectly in these excellent photos
  4. Ethiopian to fly daily to Toronto. Well this evolved as expected given the limited increase in flight opportunities. Montreal will have to wait. The only outside possibility, albeit highly unlikely IMO, is for Air Canada to start a route to ADD from YUL with Ethiopian code sharing. One can hope. https://www.aeroroutes.com/eng/240102-etns24yyz
  5. ITA gets permission to serve Canada. Fingers cross they include Montreal along with a Toronto service. https://otc-cta.gc.ca/eng/ruling/a-2023-256
  6. 23-12-26 It’s a poor drive by pic. I didn’t know what this site was but with 8 cranes it had to be big.
  7. I wish I’d seen that and gotten some pics. Damn.. oh well.
  8. Further insight into the expanded Ethiopian air agreement. https://simpleflying.com/ethiopian-airlines-daily-canada-flights/
  9. On est dans 2012 non? 😂 😂 😂 merci, corrigè
  10. Makes sense to me but I don’t really know the demand breakdown for Amman. Petra is a huge tourist draw there and I don’t know the size of the Jordanian communities in either Montreal or Toronto. They could do a daily flight to YYZ with a YUL stop (as it is now) which might work too if the demand is similar from both cities. However nonstops are always preferred so your breakdown still makes the most sense For Ethiopian I was wondering about a similar scenario where they’d do the 4 frequencies to YUL as a stopover to YYZ. That would make it a two stop to Ethiopia from Toronto though. It seems weird they would have expected more than the 2 additional frequencies they got. Another option for them might be to form a partnership with Air Canada and let AC use some of their frequencies to codeshare on if Air Canada would be interested in serving Ethiopia from Montreal. Perhaps with fifth freedom rights (if available) they could fly it via Dakar or Abidjan which I believe they eventually want to serve from here anyway. I’m just throwing out ideas to see if anything else can make sense.
  11. Canada Jetlines coming to Montreal in 2024 at YHU! It’s a one time flight from Toronto onto Cancun. Interesting routing though https://www.aeroroutes.com/eng/231218-aujan24yhu
  12. I suspect Ethiopian must be disappointed. They wanted to start YUL with a 4x a week service via West Africa. All they got was an additional two frequencies. I’d bet they just go daily to YYZ for now and plan Montreal in the next round of agreement updates.
  13. Canada expands air agreements with Ethiopia, Jordan and Türkiye https://www.canada.ca/en/transport-canada/news/2023/12/canadians-to-benefit-from-expanded-air-transport-agreements-with-ethiopia-jordan-and-turkiye.html
  14. Voudriez-vous poster le lien vers la webcam s'il vous plaît.
  15. AA717 Munich-Charlotte diverted to YUL this afternoon. Anyone here know why?
  16. Tbh I see Sun Country here so often with their sports charters having a scheduled flight into Montreal probably won’t change much for me lol. Always glad to see a US airline expand here. It’s rare.
  17. Sun Country is going to start flights from Minneapolis to Montreal and Toronto. I didn’t see this one coming. https://ishrionaviation.com/news/sun-country-summer-2024-new-routes
