Le terrain du stationnement fermera le 15 Juin, afin que la construction débute deux jours après. Nous aimerions à nouveau profiter de cette opportunité et vous remercier de votre soutien tout au long de ce processus. Vous recevrez un autre courriel sous peu vous invitant à un cocktail le 25 Aout 2014 afin de célébrer le commencement des travaux. Je reste à votre disposition pour tous renseignements additionnels. The parking lot has been mandated to officially shut down on June 15th, and excavation will begin within the following two days.   3. Unfortunately, there's no real way to get the deposit back under the purchase agreement. The only real option would be to sue for it, but the project will most likely be long dead by the time it would actually go to court. I've been tempted, particularly after the saleswoman told me that they had no obligation to notify buyers of any changes to the building's plans or timetable. If not for mtlurb, I would have had no idea that they had converted the 4th and 5th floors to office space or added units to the other floors. In the meantime, buyers are stuck without being able to buy into any of the other projects that have popped up unless they're ready to pay for 2 mortgages in the event that the tower actually gets built. Tom condos made a lot more sense when it was first announced, as it had very little competition. Now though, there are no buyers willing to pay $500k+ for one of the upper level units when they can spend that money on a unit in a nicer building, albeit on a lower floor.
  4. As someone who bought a unit on one of those lower floors and whose deposit is now stuck in limbo, I don't. There has been absolutely no communication from the developer regarding progress or delays (including changes they made to the building) and extremely unprofessional attitude from the sales team. They're not going to be attracting more buyers with the reputation they've been building... According to the developer, they're just waiting for the permit to begin construction, which permit they've been waiting for since March. I think it's quite clear that's not the real reason they haven't started the work.
