    Quebecers are becoming paranoia with their language laws, it's like they live in constant fear and insecurity. It is giving a very bad image outside. Any immigrant who comes to Quebec and stays here to work will learn french eventually and if they do not, their kids and kid's kids will 100% learn and speak french.

    The boom is pretty much over and we are heading into a recession this winter. I doubt any new big projects will get announced or really start anytime soon.

    Les projets par le privé ne sont pas beaucoup mieux que les projets mené par le public. Ils sont justes moins pires. J'ai travaillé dans le public et dans le privé. Il n'y a jamais eu un projet sans dépassement de couts ou d'échéancier. La seule chose qui est dommage c'est que le REM est tombé dans la pire période covid/inflation/pénurie alors on ne saura jamais comment leur performance aurait été sans ces impacts.

    What is the avg price for a 51/2 or 61/2 in dowtown or near dt. I think above 600k and if you look at new construction that would be easily above 700k. The average mtl family with 2 or 3 kids will never afford that. It will always be bought by rich ppl who just want a bigger space or investors.
