  1. I bought their Salema sofa bed. I'm really pleased with the quality for the price I paid.

    1950? Notre-Dame O/W

I pass in front of it all the time. It looks really good for the spot!
  3. Nouvelle galerie sur leur site: http://lecanal.ca/fr/galerie
  4. I think the more important point is to simply have parking space always available! It is near impossible to find a "free" spot on the streets downtown, else you pay 30$ a day for a private garage. Now, if I can get a parking for 35k 200m away instead of 70k (after tax)... I will start considering the walk as an option! On topic: based on the renderings of TdC2 only, it seems there is not enough room on the land to add 2 more towers...
  5. Thanks Jerry! Interesting to see how these parking prices will affect Jardin Windsor prices and even Griffintown. It would almost be better for them to buy a parking spot at Jardin Windsor at half the price and walk the 200m back to TdC2...
  6. I remember going to the sales office and it was really 80% sold... There was only like 6-7 units left if I remember. It seems the project went down when they realized the complexity and problems of the excavation perhaps? Hard to believe, but if you are going to steal money, why even bother with the demolition of the old building, while maintaining the facade at high cost and starting excavating?
  7. Condos on the 48th, 49th and 50th floor of Tour des Canadiens are already sold. Also, Avenue sold condos on the 48th and 49th already... or at least this is what I heard.
  8. Surprisingly, they already sold the penthouses above the 47th floor, all the units on the 45th and it now seems the large penthouse of the 42th with huge terrace. They are doing much better than Ritz and Altoria in that regards!
  9. Wow! My unit is corner Basin and Seigneurs... I didn't even know there was such a problem within the building... Never had any noise or smell issues in my unit.
  11. That said, Yoo is really one of the nicest project. I especially like the radiant floors and the bathroom styles!
  12. Good luck! In my experience, price is firm, but they will include more things "for the same price". For my unit in another project, I could get some modifications, extra lighting, doors, condo fees for a year, etc. But price was not changed. That said, once the building was finished, the remaining units were at a small discount (but imo less desirable)
  13. They filled water features this week:
  14. I am in Le Canal and I had no issues with the condo, except a touch up of caulking on one window, but I have over 40 linear feet of windows so can't complain really. If I had to choose between Gallery and Bassins, I would pick Bassins. I think the "I1a" floor plan is great!
  15. That's what I call a pretty big risk... A collateral for 1.6 Billion is quite substantial, if it doesn't work, the guy is going bankrupt.
  18. I went with Bell because they ran fiber all the way to the units. Videotron ran cable instead. If you want to go for low latency and higher bandwidth plans, Bell had better specs. I am a software engineer and I upload a lot of data to multiple VMs at once (100Mbps+), so my needs are not too common. If you want to browse the web and send emails, both Videotron and Bell are fine and you won't see any different. If you are a big HD streaming fan, you might.
