  1. One thing that is nice, it is the construction holiday and they are still doing some work on the Roxboro and Sunnybrooke station.
  2. Easy fix. The city should be like, this happens or your taxes will be going up exponentially for the foreseeable future, so we dont cut services.
  3. It looks I am late to the party 😆 Either way, people will complain until the thing is operational. I just got back from Vancouver, which has an automated transit system, that comes every few minutes and it was great. I barely used it though, because the bus system really good over there.
  4. If not, come up with a theme and probably a dozen of us mtlurb users can get you some content.
  5. It is a waste of money and will probably be over budget. That $12B could be put to good use somewhere else.
  6. I guess they started buying votes and the election hasn't even started yet. Old tech. Just give us maglev and for $10 each way.
  7. The building looks very Scandinavian or something you would see in some parts of London.
  8. That is so cool, I had no idea of the connection with Dublin.
  9. Good luck getting the structural changes done in time or if ever.
  10. I went yesterday, for the 1st time in about 2 years and it is pretty nice. They do still got a lot of work cut out for them. One thing there is a lookout near the Tour de Levi, they should work on pruning the trees, so you can get a better view of the city. Hopefully they figure out what to do with the Stewart Museum that just closed and work on re-opening the restaurant. One thing that was nice, before people would leave, they would give you their parking ticket, so you wouldn't have to pay.
  11. Cant they just hire someone or a group of people, to do a mural on all of it?
  12. What is inside the current Place Frontenac? The new project does look pretty cool and would change the way the area looks.
  13. It looks like Quebecor/Videotron is looking to Freedom Mobile to expand to other parts of Canada. Only thing is the regulators will have to push Rogers to divest, that part of the purchase of Shaw. 14. I heard the Y is dead in the West Island
  15. Nice to know that Village au Pied-du-Courant will be open this year. I have been wanting to go for a long time.
  16. I guess, if they start this year or next year, this will take a good 10 years to develop?
  19. Whatever work they are doing today behind my house, it feels like someone overloaded the washing machine 😆
  20. I bet my grand-uncle Hymie would be happy with the change.
  21. Two options: China or North Korea, but no one wants to have slave labour. The province and construction industry, will need to find a way to get people to go into construction versus other sectors, or as you put it, pull talent from other provinces.
  22. It be nice when the building completed, they can have their investor meeting on prem.
  23. I was thinking the same thing. More workers, things should go faster. True more hands, means more money to pay out, but I think that is better, compared to having less hands on deck. With less hands on deck, things take more time and inflation kicks in for material.
