Les photos sont interdites dans toute cette partie du centre ville, alors j'ai même pas pus sortir mon appareil.

J'ai pus prendre 2 photos très mauvaises avec mon téléphone avant que les flics ne débarquent.

 

C'est assez intéressant puisque les façades sont éclairées et que les lampadaires arborent la signalétique New-Yorkaise...

 

 

Et avant hier ou quelque chose comme ça j'ai pris cette photo de la construction de la pseudo bouche de métro.

Je vais trouver un moyen. S'il faut que je montage dans un gratte-ciel voisinant et prendre une photo avec mon zoom au max, j'vais trouver un moyen.

Surtout, ça fait un tout très cohérent vu du square !! Très belle intégration !!

Québecor est tombé sur le Cocisk.

It's like the Quebecor complex went from a 60's throw-back eyesore on the south side of a down-trodden public place to the jewel in the crown of a rejuvenated Square Victoria, all in the span of about half a decade.

 

It really is my favourite building bordering the square. It really fits in with the dimensions of the square and its belt of buildings; buildings that help tell the story of this, one of the most beautiful public spaces of the city. Although the Place Victoria (Tour de la Bourse) is very imposing, it too reminds us of a time, around the middle of the last century, when there was a genuine feeling and hope that Montreal would be the "Ville Reine" of Canada.

 

It's too bad for the Phenix Notre Dame, there view being forever removed from the picture. It should have been built just west of Quebecor, on top of the existing buildings, thereby rising like a phoenix out of the ground.
