Air Canada in summer 2019 season is increasing Montreal – Tel Aviv service, during peak travel season. From 20JUN19 to 08SEP19, the airline will add 3rd weekly flight on this route, operated by A330-300 aircraft.

AC082 YUL1800 – 1120+1TLV 333 347
AC083 TLV1250 – 1735YUL 333 145

This is the same as summer 2018. They are simply maintaining what they had last year.

I thought it was always popular and with the Greek ex-pat community, I'm not surprised.

This past summer I flew ATHYUL. From speaking with three other passengers in our seating area, two of them had a final destination beyond YUL.  One was Ottawa, the other London, Ont. Very anecdotal and unscientific research here, but perhaps an indication of the growing importance of connection feed over YUL.

It makes sense! ATH is also a big starting point for cruises.

A few US changes I noticed that I guess were loaded into the system before the holidays.

YUL-DEN

2 daily mainline E190, instead of AC express E175

YUL-LGA

3 of 8 daily flights are now mainline A320 (AC744, 746, 748)

Other flights remain AC express E75

YUL-MIA

2nd daily flight on day 1347  (rouge A319)

Just saw the DEN today loaded as well as I am headed there in May........2nd daily is well timed.

I know several people here in LA who have flown to ATH via YUL over the last few years.

These Rouge flights to Europe are full of Americans transiting through YUL in the summer, hence the large increase in USA traffic.
