En parlant de MONDEV, quelqu'un est au courant de son intention avec l'immeuble qu'il a acheté sur ste-catherine ou loge le restaurant l'Echalote?

Le projet ne couvre pas le terrain longeant la rue Cartier au coin de Ste-Catherine. Quelqu'un sait s'il y a des développements pour ce terrain ?

D'accord! Ça serait bien si le terrain était valorisé temporairement d'ici à un développement immobilier. Comme le terrain vacant coin Amherst.

Le groupe LANDE avait tente d'assembler un groupe de citoyens pour aménager le site il y a un couple d'années  mais cela n'a jamais abouti à des gestes concrètes.

The owner should be forced to keep the land clean and safe. Any vacant lot should be forced to be kept clean. This should be in the city bylaws if its not already. Its a shame when land is not up to the standards of the neighborhood.FINE FINE FINES

Ce projet a été retiré de l’ordre du jour (2^e lecture) du conseil de l’arrondissement Ville-Marie (du 10 avril). Il semble que le promoteur est en réflexion/discussion avec l’arrondissement suite aux commentaires reçus à la consultation publique du 27 mars dernier.

I'm beginning to think that developers say this to increase the social acceptability of their project during the approval process. As far as the city is concerned both are residential, no difference. In fact, if you ever ask the city during a consultation process, they will often tell you they do not know the intentions...
