caribb Posté(e) 25 juin 2018 Partager Posté(e) 25 juin 2018 I was in Old Montréal this past week and remarked on the number of Asian tourists I saw. In fact a guided tour of Japanese tourists passed me at Notre Dame basilica led by a woman carrying a Japanese flag. That’s the first time I’ve seen that here. Ended up having s short discussion with a tourist from Scotland who loved the city and compared Vieux Montréal visually to Edinburgh. So the mix is surprisingly diverse compared to what I’ve seen in the past. I guess the new flights to Beijing, Shanghai and Tokyo are paying off. As they grow and hopefully eventually expand to Hong Kong and Seoul Asia could become a powerful source of tourist revenue for the city.
