Un basilaire avec une bonne échelle, deux tours différentes l'une de l'autre, des traitements de façade graphiques, proportionnés et soignés...

Pour l'instant c'est encourageant!

Isn't that a bit overdramatic ? These towers will be lost in a forest of other towers. In fact, they will hide worst offenders, like the Griffix. Also, we need more and better renders to really judge.

At least they didn't demolish one of Montreal's most famous remaining buildings (the Children's) to built this version of the design.

Steve a raison SI aucune autre tour est érigée a l'est de Shannon et au sud de Wellington, car le Mary Robert deviendra en sorte un serre-livres des tours visibles a notre gauche en entrant via le viaduc CN ou l'autoroute.

It won't win any awards, but it's dense, it's got a great podium and street-level design and a lot of activity at ground level. The towers are average, sure. I love great architecture as much as anyone else, but what really matters here is how thousands of people will interact with this building.

Great architecture is a fantastic bonus when we can get it, but ultimately, we design cities to be lived and experienced at ground level, where people are. On that front, this project is not sad or cheap at all. It looks quite promising. And with any luck, the building will look better than its renderings.
