Je crois qu'on devrais riposté avec une Taxe sur les Boeing qui sont largement subventionné. Boeing est une des compagnies les plus subventionner au États-Unis. Avec le libre échange, rendons airbus compétitif pour les gros avions et BBD pour les petits.

I hope BBD recovers from this blow, time for new clients and orders. Meanwhile, maybe some people will come to their senses down south, as the amount of stupidity coming from their side of the border is appalling! 

BBD doesn't need US sale for now. They are about to sale a lot of C-series in China and Asia. US will have no choice to change their minds when realize the competition will have a big advantage over them. C-series is a weapon and will hit so hard Boeing, it just a question of time. And they know it.

The thing is, they sold a small amount to Korean Air, but none to other major Asian players... When ANA and JAL will order, and other Chinese carriers, even Air Asia, then the threat will be real! A big order from IAG or AF/KL, or a follow up from Lufthansa / Swiss would be great too!

Bombardier pourrait probablement contourner ces droits compensateurs en vendant ses CSeries à une entreprise de location d'avions à l'extérieur des États-Unis (genre AerCap), laquelle louerait ensuite les CS100 et CS300 à Delta (qui pourrait avoir une option de les acheter plus tard, une fois le conflit réglé).

Tiens, pour tourner le fer dans la peau de Boeing : CDPQ pourrait créer une filiale de location d'avions, acheter une énorme quantité de CSeries et les louer par la suite (notamment aux lignes aériennes américaines). Je me demande d'ailleurs pourquoi ils ne font pas déjà ça. Les Russes le fonc bien pour aider la promotion du Superjet et du MC-21, de même que les chinois avec leur C919.

Best way Bombardier can fight back against this absurd penalty is to sell the CSeries in large numbers to China and other countries around the globe. The USA isn’t the only market in the world despite its importance.

We should go and buy eurofighter typhoon's. We have a nice new trade agreement with the EU and that will show we actually don't depend on them. Also why can't the WTO do something that will do the same to Boeing trying to sell to china or other large markets. I may be mistaken but the American government has subsidized Boeing with a total of close to half a trillion, like how much hypocrisy can they have.

UK should cancel any american jet fighter purchases.

C'est dommage que le Royaume Unis sorte de l'union européennes puisqu'ils aurait pu être un allier important pour répliquer à cette mesure.

Peut etre encore mieux que le Royaume Unis soit sorti car de toute facons l'Europe est en confrontation frontale avec Airbus et Boeing.

Moi je commanderais des Sukhoi Su-57 tiens, ça en surprendrait plus d'un! 

Malheureusement, avec leur grande implication dans le projet du F-35B, je ne crois pas que la RAF et la Royal Navy vont annuler leurs commandes, d'autant plus qu'il n'y a pas vraiment d'alternative pour un appareil semblable et qu'une bonne partie des composantes sont conçues sont conçues et fabriquées au Royaume-Uni (par BAe et Rolls-Royce entre autres). En plus, c'est un avion Lockheed et non pas Boeing. C'est aussi trop tard pour annuler les 9 P-8I (des Boeing 737 modifiés pour la patrouille maritime, qui ont d'ailleurs coûté une fortune).

Peut-être que la RAF pourrait menacer de ne pas commander les éventuels 14 C-130J supplémentaires prévus et commander à la place 6 à 8 A400M, mais encore là, on fait surtout mal à Lockheed... 
 

Mais enfin, comme je l'ai déjà mentionné, Bombardier a probablement déjà pensé à un moyen de contourner cette décision bidon du gouvernement américain via la location d'avions.
