We need to rally behind our national carrier as Montreal is becoming a top hub. Stratégie de hub de l'Est du Canada mais surtout les nouveaux vols directs. Timothy Posté(e) 9 juin 2017 Partager Posté(e) 9 juin 2017 A very noticeable change at YUL in the past couple of years is the upgauge from Dash-8-200s to the 300s and Q400s on all sorts of Jazz sectors. Ottawa, Quebec City, Bathurst, Moncton, Charlottetown, the available seat numbers have gone way up, so more opportunities for connectivity to mainline. (I have no info on how much LF has gone up, though). 1 Lien vers le commentaire Partager sur d’autres sites
mont royal Posté(e) 9 juin 2017 Partager Posté(e) 9 juin 2017 There remain several new flights that are still to kick in, so this summer`s numbers should be interesting. According to my personal and unofficial calculations, there will be 58 more weekly scheduled international flights from YUL this summer compared to last summer, for a total of 268 weekly. That includes the extra daily flight to Mexico City by Aeromexico, the arrival of Interjet (6 weekly flights), extra flights By Air Algeria and Tunisair. extra WOW flights to Iceland, and one extra weekly flight by Air China to Beijing. Then, there is the amazing leap by Air Canada; extra or new flights to Shanghai, Algiers, Marseille, Casablanca, Reykjavik, Tel Aviv, Athens, Barcelona, Fort de France, and Mexico City!!! Quite amazing and hopefully... Beirut around the corner. 3 Lien vers le commentaire Partager sur d’autres sites
andre md Posté(e) 10 juin 2017 Partager Posté(e) 10 juin 2017 Removing visa requirement for Mexicans help a lot to get more flight to Mexico. I could add that if we bring more immigrants to Montreal , we gonna see a real boom. Lien vers le commentaire Partager sur d’autres sites
