Tesla Motors Inc (TSLA) is following its international expansion plans. According to Canadian newspaper La Presse Affaires, it will inaugurate its first electric-car dealership in Quebec, Canada. The construction of the dealership is expected to be completed by the end of next year.

 

California-based Tesla Motors will be opening its all-electric car dealership on Ferrier Street, right next to the Montreal landmark in Quebec. In late 2012, Tesla opened a service center in the city of Laval. However, due to limited facilities available at the site, it cannot be classified as a complete car dealership. Apart from this, the city of Toronto also boasts a small Tesla service center at Lawrence Avenue East.

 

The planned car dealership, in CDN-NDG (Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce), will be built on a gigantic 45,000 square foot area, costing more than $1 million. Tesla’s dealership will be located near the Rolls-Royce Holdings PLC (RYCEY), Jaguar, and Mercedes car dealerships in the area.

 

Tesla’s decision to open a car dealership comes shortly after the company opened its first supercharger station last month, in Squamish, British Columbia, to facilitate its Canadian customers. The supercharger station was placed strategically, halfway between Vancouver and Whistler, to enable customers to drive through the entire length of the West Coast.

Les libéraux ont déjà mis le pied dans ce piège, et de ce fait portent une grande part de responsabilité, dans le chaos de la gouvernance montréalaise. Ce sont eux qui ont organisé cette bureaucratie bancale, par une première ronde de défusions. C'était pour faire avaler ce retour en arrière, qu'ils ont créés des quasi-villes avec les arrondissements, en multipliant le nombre d'élus et de chefs.

691 hp - 0 to 100 kph in 3.2 secs. The autopilot feature seems interesting. I for one would like to see, how it compares to other cars out there already, with a similar feature. I already foresee a problem with this cars autopilot on certain highways - nothing is indicated properly or it is so faded.

Wow, je veux une Tesla depuis une couple d'années, mais là j'en veux une encore plus. Mais elle ne sera pas la voiture que je prendrai pour me rendre à Montréal ( à partir de NYC), du moins pas encore pour un autre 2 ans j'imagine.
