On the units facing south to the canal. Does any one know what minimum floor you have to be on in order to have a nice view of south shore and not have the old building obstructing?

 

At least the 4th floor to see over The Artissimo warehouse on the other side of the canal. I can say that because I live on the 5th floor facing the canal in phase 1. The view over the warehouse is not that great though, as what you see is mostly a bunch of stacked up containers behind the building (and a little bit of the higher buildings of Île des Soeurs in the background). Mind you, it is bound to change eventually as the remnants of the industrial period slowly disappear, especially if Coderre succeeds in bringing a baseball team to Montreal and have the stadium built in this area.

Je croyais que le but d'acheter une unité qui longe le canal est justement de voir la verdure et le canal et non de voir à des miles à la ronde.... M'enfin...
