Elle ressemble à cette tour à Downtown New York ! Serait-ce le même architecte ?

On pourra toujours regretter les limites de hauteur d'un immeuble en particulier ou l'absence de sa tour jumelle. Cependant on ne doit pas oublier que le marché montréalais du bureau n'a jamais été par nature très extensible et s'est généralement montré peu spéculatif. Ce qui m'amène à dire que son évolution à Montréal a principalement été cyclique.

J'en conclue que si la deuxième tour du complexe de la Bourse avait été construite (ou davantage de hauteur pour la tour présente), elle l'aurait été au détriment de l'équivalent en surface de bureaux en moins, ailleurs au c-v. Ce qui veut dire qu'une (ou plusieurs) tour de bureaux dans le ciel de la métropole n'aurait jamais vu le jour, pour éviter un gros excédent dans un marché en constante recherche d'équilibre.

Bien sûr on peut toujours rêver à d'autres scénarios passés ou présents. Mais la réalité actuelle m'apparait pourtant bien plus excitante qu'espérée il y a même quelques années. En effet on assiste à un baby-boom de tours de nouvelle génération comme jamais auparavant. Les condos concurrencent même les bureaux pour la dominance du ciel montréalais, dans un tourbillon de constructions absolument impressionnant.

Je n'ai donc plus de place pour des regrets, puisque la période actuelle me comble vraiment, avec sa myriade de projets et de propositions qui s'ajoutent quasi hebdomadairement. A la morosité, Montréal à fait place au dynamisme retrouvé et tout indique que l'avenir sera même meilleur si on continue sur cette lancée.

Very unhappy with the developer, they move the gym and party room to the ground floor, on where no natural light is available. The reason to do so is that they want to have more office spaces for more profit. Also, they change plans of 37 th floor and 38th floor. I think this project is a waste for this location.

Maybe its temporary while new co-owners settle in, until the top floors are finished?

It is permanent,because they have provided new renders for the changed design

Originally, the terrasse was set to be on the 4th floor on the back of the building next to the gym and party room with nothing on the top. The changed setup (back 3-4 years ago) is a roof top terrasse with a view on the city (eventually...) .  For the gym and party room , it will be on the inside close to ground level when eventually finished ... With the new setup, you gain at lot on one side ( view at the top) and lose a bit on the other side for the gym and party room (a view on the back of the building ) . I personnaly purchased a condo for personnal use in 2012 and an office space for business use in 2013. Got both delivered in June. Happy overall with the setup. I just hope the terrasse, pool, gym and party room will be equally as good in 2019!
