  1. I'm looking for MORE like this. Particularly around Square Victoria (Hotel W / CDP). These two pics are too small to satisfy my curiosity/nostalgia, but they're all I could find. This stuff is at most 10 years old, I'm surprised how few pictures google images turns up. Before After Palais des Congres construction would also be fine, stuff like this:

    2010 World Cup

The WC has been going on for a while now and no thread? I just watched USA beat Algeria 1-0.. dramatic win! Goal at 91st minute by Donovan! Crazy stuff! Happy for USA who had a fair goal incorrectly disallowed in the previous game (which would have allowed them to advance)
  3. If you go to NY, this is a must see. Trust me I am not a fan of Broadway shows but this one is amazing. It was a nice change from the original tv show and movies. Plus some of the stuff they say in this is hilarious. Especially when Grandma speaks. :goodvibes: I hope to see it again soon.
  4. Why is it that TD is the only Canadian bank that has an actual branch in NYC. While BMO and RBC have branches but in different cities. BMO and RBC both have their wealth management in NYC though :stirthepot: OT: A while back Gothamist had a small article on TD seeing it wasn't like other banks, it was more friendly and there wasn't like bulletproof glass protecting the teller from people and stuff.
  5. I ended up asking this girl I like out, she's known for a while now. Her answer was something I did not really expect "I am not really in the mood for a relationship right now. Do not get me wrong I do like you, just maybe in a few months." Plus she said something else like "we can still take it slow." I have known her for a good 3 years now I think, we only started actually hanging out in November. In December when I was on vacation she asked me to go to New York with her, which we are in August. We have already made out twice in the past week give or take. So should I just keep going at the pace its going and just wait. Thing is I sort of do understand her answer seeing its summer and I guess she wants to have some fun and stuff. One thing would this be some sort of "open relationship" or something or its just whatever now and hope it works out in the next few months :egads: PLUS I am not that type of guy to just fool around. I must be the only idiot at 22 that wants an actual relationship

    Noise laws

I am curious does anyone know if Beaconsfield has any bilaws concerning noise levels. I am planning on having some parties outdoor in the summer with djs and stuff, plus tons of people probably. Or should I just call up Beaconsfield city hall and ask them?
  7. Does anyone know of any commercial printing places in Montreal? I want to print stuff on magazine type of paper.

    Role of the state

Both governments are currently spending part of my money for stuff that does not interest me as much as say, having put the funds together to have saved the nordiques or expos. Now, don't get me wrong, I don't mind they spend some of my $$$ for museums, festivals, etc.. because I strongly believe that as a whole, we all win. However, not having the city of Québec on the NHL map is a disgrace and my heart aches every time spring training rolls around. The government should have done something...
