Couldn't find any info online, but the last remaining nuns moved out March 2013. This CANDEV sign popped up over the weekend.

I came across this lovely video of a young YouTuber from France who visited Montreal for the first time, and how our city brought her a new perspective on life. At one point, recalling the experience of Montreal and Montrealers and what it did for her brings her to tears. A definite watch for us living here; it's a little long but take a moment and check it out. Too many of us take for granted how special a place this is. Skip to 2:35 if you want to get right to it. Interestingly, many of the video's comments are made by other French citizens saying they experienced the same feeling while visiting Montreal.

Read more: http://www.montrealgazette.com/news/Military+Culture+Festival+starts+with+roar/7174534/story.html#ixzz25Kfon5Z5 It was interesting being in Old Montreal yesterday and seeing multiple CF-18s flying by. Plus I was reading, there was a mini anti-war protest also going on because of this. I saw some comments on Twitter and some news website about, how some people feel bad for refugees that left war-torn nations to come here and to hear fighter planes again. It does suck, but they could have went to Costa Rica or Liechtenstein seeing both those nations do not have a military (I know that is really mean).
