I wonder if we will see this in the near future. RBC are releasing some or all of their new credit cards with to be used by PayWave systems, which is convenient, but does not make sense when you have chip&pin on the card to stop people from using it. Even with the chip&pin security, the card can still be entered manually and be used. One thing I would like for Canadian banks to start handing out security keys for bank accounts. Instead of having to update your password or remembering it when you go online. The key has a randomly generated password you need to use to access your account online.
