  2. Canada - Israel expand air services agreement

    A private source.
  3. Canada - Israel expand air services agreement

Air Canada is in the final stages of acquiring more A333s. Should see between 2-4 fins join the fleet in the next 6-24 months.
  4. Great news!! AC does it again! Can't wait for more US routes to feed the hub...MSY, SEA, SAN.... Good times ahead.
  5. Level YUL-Orly,Paris 3 times a week eff Summer 2018

There is already there enough market for ORY from YUL? or are they looking to take some of the market from CDG??
  6. EI rumor to start YUL?

There's a discussion on airliners talking about EI getting delivery of another 333 this December, and next summer putting the A330 into service on DUB-IAD. If so, that frees up a 757 and there was some discussion of it starting either YUL or PIT. TS already opperates to DUB, and lots of capacity to YYZ with TS, AC(RV), EI...any chance we'd see them start-up next summer? Cheers
  7. Air Canada S18 International service changes

  9. BOMBARDIER C series

Very well done summation of the situation. At first, I was very dissapointed with this deal, but the more I think about it, it becomes clear, there was no other option. Well done.
  10. Customs backlog 01/10/17

Morning gang, Landed at the airport last night, and heading towards customs the lineup and throngs of people were back up practically to gate 58. Must have been over an hour wait to get to the customs hall alone. This was at 1530. Any idea why so bad? I have never seen it this bad, certainly not all summer.
  11. Another article better outlining the upcoming routes...very impressive AC! YYZ-DUB is going to mainline, therefore freeing up a 767, also YUL-CMN is going mainline, freeing up another. Rouge can now be expanded indefinitely beyond 50 aircraft (the previous limit), and only linked with mainline growth ratios established in the pilot contract. However, only on the narrow body 319/321, not the 767 fleet.
  12. Seems we'll see the 757 leave and be replaced by the MAX8, 5 weekly.
  13. Air Canada S18 International service changes

    Have fun with that!
  14. Air Canada announces YUL-DUB

    Lisbon avec Rouge.
  15. Oui. Since June there has been an official 787 base for pilots in YUL. Most recently, since August, the latest bid is showing Captain, First Officer and Relief Pilot positions all being crewed from the Montreal base.
  16. Cool review of the new service.
  17. Morning, I can't seem to find any detailed plans/images for the work being completed to create a new off-terminal parking west of E taxiway and north of 10/28. I know the work is advancing, but would love to get an idea of what it will look like (how many spots, how large, connecting taxiways....etc) Anyone seen anything? Cheers
  18. Une liaison Montréal-Beyrouth?

    Another article about YUL-BEY
  19. About time....been waiting for this to be official for a while!
  20. Aircraft Parking North of 10/28

Been getting a good look the past few weeks at the new parking north of 10/28. The light posts do indeed seem to be way too close to the runway to meet runway clearance criteria, even when the bays aren't used. Anyone know if the lights are officially encroaching on the runway protected area?
  21. Aircraft Parking North of 10/28

What do you envision mark_ac for the next step to aquire more gates/parking? New terminal?
  22. Aircraft Parking North of 10/28

Wow!! This is exactly what I thought would happen to 10/28 as a result, but couldn't find any supporting documentation. Even in ADM's long term planning etc, they don't talk about shutting 10/28 so soon. So is it safe to say the runway will now become a permanent east/west taxiway? This could help move things along when the north ramp has congestion. Another question comes to me tho....since summer is the busiest season, and there's no de-icing in summer, why not use the de-ice pad as a remote-parking area. Can fit at least 5 wide-bodies and miltiple other narrow-bodies there.
