    Amazing, amazing news. This would be so good. I feel we're reaching an amount of flights now where connections are happening easily.....

    Not surprised it wasn't that successful. There's already many players on the HAV route....AC, TS, CA...does Cubana operate it as well? What do you mean 787-9? All the info above shows its staying 77W. Is it planned to switch to 789 now that CA has received them? I just wish we'd see a flight to Shanghai, Hong Kong or Japan from AC directly.....would complement the hub so perfectly. In my frequent travels...i'm starting to see the downside to the AC YYZ global hub...on many occasions this summer, as soon as YYZ is delayed due to storms, they have slot times, and everything gets messed up. Same thing happens if they have to use the 15/33s, everything gets restricted. I understand the desire to have everything go through YYZ, but in doing so AC is leaving themselves vulnerable to so many factors, which can have ripple effect delays throughout the system. I feel this could be best averted by diversifying just a bit to the YUL base....Bring on the Asia flights!!

    Good morning everyone! Just thought i'd start a little discussion on the rumors we heard last year, that Air China was interested in starting a Montreal- Shanghai service in the fall of 2016 Does anyone have any info on that? Cheers

    I have been saying for ages that Air Transat and Porter would be a perfect match. Porter could finally develop their secondary hub outside of YTZ at YUL, and would be able to use jets. Add in a partnership with Transat (who doesn't really want to be doing domestic, but they have to to feed their international expansion and services) and you have a great business plan. Who knows!!

    I agree. Not good to hear these kinds of capacity cutting/reductions. Even though we are experiencing expansion in other areas.

    So, about a week after the inauguration, anyone have any feedback? Are the gates always full? Any good pictures? Feedback from users or employees? Cheers

    Amazing news. This is totally outside the scope of what I was thinking. Imagine the frequency when all the branches meet up. Now, THAT, will be service! A promotion video from the CDPQ Infra devision.

    Hmmm....how do you guys think these times will work out for connections? The Saturday flight seems not bad, but with the TU202 arriving wednesdays at 2005, might be tougher to move people to onward destinations without an overnight.

    It definitely won't be Air Transat. Everyone knows Air Canada is the only airline that does any expansion out of YUL.
