    Philippe Couillard was low key the best PM we had in decades and got no love from the public. He did what was unpopular but needed to be done.

    100% don't agree. Making the Bonaventure into a boulevard is a great idea. If only we could demolish the metropolitain and remplace it with a boulevard as well. Dig a tunnel underneath and allow high speed through traffic, but keep the surface as a boulevard for local traffic.

    We love hating on our own projects. I guess now that America has given us their stamp of approval we can all now agree we got something pretty good for a great price.

    Unfortunately this is next to Jean-Talon, which is essentially Hell on Earth for a pedestrian.

    Yes, I mean multiple fares. I was buying 3, for my wife, mother and myself. I had to do it three times. The ticket agent acknowledged it was the only way. Waste of time.

    The dumbest thing ever is you cannot purchase multiple tickets. I had to make 3 separate transactions in order to buy 3 tickets. One of the reasons why the line to buy tickets are so long. What makes it even dumber is the system to purchase tickets is the same as the metro, but they somehow decided to remove the option to purchase multiple tickets. Epic fail.

    I got to admit that this is really stupid. There is plenty of green space on the mountain, they didn't need to eliminate a good chunk of the parking. I live in Cartierville. How the hell am I supposed to get there with my wife and 4 year old daughter on a busy weekend? 20 minute bus ride to metro cote vertu, then 30 minute metro to Mount Royal metro, then 15 minute bus ride to the top of the mountain. My 25 minute car ride has now becomes a solid 1 hour and a half when you account for waiting for buses and metro, etc. Merci Val.

    Really? I find in North America YUL is one of, if not the nicest airport I have been to. A lot of American airports seem dated to me.

    Dave, dans ce cours trajet il y a une falaise, les chemin de fer, une autoroute et le canal Lachine. Il y a des obstacles!

    I was at the park this past weekend. I have to admit it isn't in great shape. Many rides are not open. Ca fait dur.

    Since I heard we were getting a TimeOut I thought the perfect place for it would have been Le Marché Bonsecours. I get sad every time I walk by it because I believe it would have been the ideal spot.

    Le premier Time Out Market est à Lisboa, et le nom de ce marché est Time Out Market. Time Out is the name of a British magazine. Time Out market is their trademark, only in Quebec are we insecure enough to be concerned about them using their trademarked name. #getoverit

    Seeing it like this, I really wish they don't put back the structures to block the rain.

    I lived about a 2 minute walk from this park for 10 years, and it was cool to see the evolution. While it is not a busy park, there are always people jogging, walking and cycling around. I loved having this park next to my home and like what has been going on with it. It's had to put into perspective how big this park actually is if you haven never been to it. It's absolutely enormous.

    That's what happens when the facades are blocked by a structure. No property owner invested in their facades because you couldn't see them. With the covering gone we finally get to see the street.

    When I walked by the stairs a month or so ago I admit I was unsure. It just seemed kind of weird to have these fancy stairs going over a parking lot entrance ramp. Not exactly scenic.

    J'ai dit le centre-ville. Option 1: Bus Lacordaire jusqu'à la ligne verte Option 2: Bus à la nouvelle station Lacordaire sur la ligne bleue. Ensuite un tranfert sur la ligne Orange, et ensuite un aautre transfer sur la ligne bleue. Je préfère Option 1.

    I grew up in Saint Leonard and went to university downtown. I used to take the Lacordaire bus to Cadillac metro to go downtown. Why would anyone from Saint Leo not continue doing this route, even with the blue line? The way I see it, doing it that way means one transfer, whereas, using the blue line means 2 transfers. I have no doubt this extension will bring more people to the Orange line. However, I just wanted to point out that perhaps many people will just continue taking the bus to the Green.

    The above article highlights why I think people are stupid for complaining that 7 surface parking spots were lost. There is a ton of parking at the market, and it only costs $2. I think the surface parking should be eliminated altogether to make room for more vendors.

    Je ne sais pas pourquoi ca chiale. Il y a en masse de stationnement sous terrain. 2 etages meme. Il y a meme deux ascenseurs. I would get rid of ALL the above ground parking and expand the market.
